Changes I Would Make to Education

Finances and budgeting are a big part of the life of an average adult. By providing multiple courses for high school students that teaches them how to manage finances, spend smartly, and budget they would be better prepared for life in the real world. They would be able to better understand loans and buying houses and cars as well as other important financial aspects of life. I feel like these students would also feel better about living independently and not be as afraid of their future. Personally, I know that I do not know much about the financial side of life, and it's a pretty terrifying feeling. By having these courses I, along with other students, would then have more confidence and knowledge, making us a better asset to society. It would also give them an advantage if they are wanting to pursue a career in financing. The needed skills would be taught to them earlier than if they took the courses in college, which would then allow for even more improvement and learning once they attend college.
